Legacy Product Support is a small, certified woman-owned Defense Contractor committed to inspiring its team to bring about meaningful change within the U.S. Military's procurement process "When it Matters Most."


Our customers are the employees of (DLA) Defense Logistics Agency and the Department of Defense (DoD), who are tasked with delivering the required goods to the field. Specifically, those employees tasked with acquiring "Emergency Buys" which are urgently needed components that could not be procured via the DLA's automated electronic bidding and award system that it uses to buy nearly all of the goods and supplies for the U.S. Military.


This computerized automated bid board system, by all commercial standards, does a fantastic job statistically, but in this business, a great system can still leave its customer critically exposed "When it Matters Most." The current system, as good as it is, allows hundreds of requirements each day to go unfilled and these delays can pose catastrophic consequences.


Our work is performed at our expense without any guarantee of earning a contract or receiving payment for our services, as a typical defense contractor would require.

As a Defense Contractor, we separate ourselves by the fact that if we have invested resources and time in sourcing product and yet are unable to locate the parts, we often supply any relevant information that we discovered during our sourcing effort to our customer. Information that could benefit our customer or in many cases even other suppliers. We believe that by sharing this information, it improves the overall mission of fulfillment. Our experience over the years of working with Defense Contractors has demonstrated that it is extremely rare that they will offer any service or benefit to DoD or DLA, unless they are contracted to be compensated for the work they perform.


Since 2017, Legacy Product Support has successfully fulfilled hundreds of U.S. Government contracts each year and an even greater number of credit card micro-purchases. Our reputation of doing "whatever it takes" to locate a solution that meets the requirement continues to grow. We built this company upon decades of our experience in navigating the military's acquisition system and leveraging the private sector who manufacture and distribute these supplies. Our relationships in both the government and private industry, along with our proprietary sourcing system and a strict adherence to conducting solid business with both vendors and customers are the reasons for our success.


Why it Matters!

What we do matters. We've built an organization that can help to improve America's most critical supply chain. Delays and inaction can mean lives and expose our nation’s security. As veterans of this industry, we view Legacy Product Support as the vehicle to which we can make a difference in this world: to our country, to our employees, and to their families.


We seek to build a better future and inspire those in the industry to focus on more than just what is good for their profits. We believe that our work is too important to view other companies as competitors. Instead, we view them as members of an American team attempting to make our country and the world a better place for all people. Our focus is on outperforming obsolescence and lead times, not American companies fighting to aid the system by competing for a contract.


We believe that if we conduct business in keeping with these principles, we will continue to expand our opportunities and relationships to ensure a mutually sustainable business future. The problems of obsolescence and manufacturing delays are issues that can never be fully defeated. Still, our team will focus every day on making the system better — When it Matters Most!
