Jackie Puleo
Owner
As the Founder and Owner of Legacy Product Support, Jackie Puleo brings a unique blend of passion and experience for building a company culture that thrives on earning and maintaining meaningful relationships with DoD and DLA acquisition personnel. Specifically, the folks whose sole mission is fulfilling contracts on critically needed components that our military is urgently counting on.
Jackie’s passion for helping others is rooted in who she has always been, growing up with the dream of going to veterinary
school to help animals. After attending Wilson College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in veterinary science, Jackie went on to spend the next decade becoming the lead technician and manager at veterinarian hospitals in Pennsylvania and Ohio, ultimately becoming a director at a veterinarian technical college.
Eventually, Jackie's husband earned a promotion which required her family to move back to South Central Pennsylvania, where she accepted an offer on a new career path in Defense Acquisition helping to support America’s Warfighter.
While it may seem like two different worlds, Jackie excelled quickly and became passionate about her work. Those that know her will tell you, Jackie shows up passionate and early with an attitude of "let's make it happen." In her mind, this work is no different than the veterinary world. She will tell you, it is all the same because "what we do matters, as lives are literally depending on it.”
In 2017, with the help of her husband, Jackie established Legacy Product Support. It was a humble beginning and started with many late nights and early mornings at her kitchen table. The business grew quickly, and she eventually merged with her longtime associate and future sister-in-law, Christine Lutheran, to expand the business to its current form today. While a lot has changed since that time, what has not changed is the company’s purpose, the ethics, or the spirit in which we conduct business.
Today, Jackie is still greatly involved with interacting with customers and ensuring that they are receiving the level of support she demands. When not working on the business, Jackie can be found exploring the family farm in her side-by-side with her German Shepard, Kimber, and grandkids.
